The 4C project publishes annual Carbon Outlooks, which describe changes in the atmospheric concentration of CO2, as well as an update on the state of the carbon sinks. Each outlook integrates the latest science in an easy-to-read format.
The 4C Carbon Outlooks are produced in partnership with the high-profile annual Global Carbon Budget, in which many 4C researchers are involved. The outlook for each year is released in November or December, generally in line with the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP).
You can find the outlooks in the table below.
|4C Carbon Outlook 2022||Feb 2023|

The 2022 outlook was launched during a webinar, taking place on 16 February 2023. The webinar discussed the outlook results in more depth, and the presentation can be found here.
